Sky Peck

Privacy policy

Sky Peck is made by IFC LLC. This page explains, in plain language, what data we collect, why, and what we never touch. Short version: the camera never records, kids don't get accounts, and we keep only what we need to sell you a license and run the game.

The camera stays in your room

Sky Peck uses your device's camera to detect body poses — spread arms, leaning, flapping — so kids can fly. All of that runs entirely on your device. The game never records video, never takes photos, and never uploads any camera data anywhere. There is no server that could receive it.

What we collect

When you create an account (accounts are invite-only during beta) and buy a license, we store: your email address and name, a hashed password (we can't read the original), your orders and licenses, and device activations — a device identifier, platform, device name, and timestamps — so we can enforce the 5-device limit. If you opt in to leaderboards, we also store a nickname, level, and score.

Kids and COPPA

Accounts are for parents and adults, not children. Kids play the game; they don't sign up for anything. Leaderboard uploads are opt-in and controlled from the parent's account — and even then, only a nickname, level, and score ever leave the device. No video, no images, no real names, no location.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers — we only see that a payment succeeded and basic order details. It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription, so there's no card kept on file for recurring billing by us.

Emails we send

Transactional emails — receipts, license keys, and verification messages — are always sent, because the service doesn't work without them. Marketing emails (news and offers) are separate: every one has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can manage topics anytime at /email/prefs.

Where your data lives

Our infrastructure runs on AWS in US regions. We currently use no analytics: no third-party trackers, no ad SDKs, nothing watching you on this site.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete your account data, turn leaderboard uploads off at any time, and unsubscribe from marketing with one click. Questions or requests: email hello@skypeck.fun.
